Hello,

my name is Goofy and i'm new here. But i hope you can help me.
If this Post is in the wrong section - please move it to the right ;)

So, now to my problem - i need to reset a BMW EWS3 Module.
I tryed it with the BMW Scanner 1.4.0.8 but without success.

i read in the Internet, i must solder a connection at the Square processor,
but if i do this, the EWS3 Module doesn't response to the Software.

If i do not solder the connection, i can read out the data .... then if i want to
erase the module the programm says connect PIN4 and PIN 8 (EWS3) then erase
and afer this cut the connection ... but if i connect these pins i get no response too ??

Have anybody a idea ? Or can tell me, what is my misstake ?

PS: in the next days i will become a CAS3 Programmer and then i can read out the
Data as a bin file. can anybody tell me a programm to erase the EWS3 with a bin file ?

Now i'm have a Editor, with i can open EWS in files ..... but now i need a sample ?
And i can't download from the CarDamp Base :(

Hi,
did you found some solutions?
i'm quite interested by, i have the same problem.
moreover i made an mistake in pa soft, checking in coding the ews3 algorithm instead of "as ews2" and now i cannot reverse and communicate with ews.
i made the same tests you described and had the same disappointments.
